From the driver who picked me up from the airport to meeting in person the concierge at the Hotel as soon as I arrived, was wonderful. The concierges were friendly, caring, very hands-on, and accommodating from the hotel check-in, tying up any loose ends.
They were very attentive and reliable. The medical staff, Doctors, nurses, anesthesiologist, nutritionist, and my surgeon, Dr. Mendiola were very professional as well as caring, making me feel at ease as they explained the procedure and what part they would be involved in.

I did not have a companion to keep me company through the surgery but they were absolutely amazing keeping my family updated through the process while I was still recovering from anesthesia. No question goes unanswered they don’t lie when they say they are there for you through your weight loss journey and want you to succeed. My experience after 3 weeks post-op: Once I arrived at the hotel I was able to take a tour of Tijuana (per my request and extra $) Nelly helped me schedule that which was nice to see how modern the city was.
The hotel was nice and I felt safe with all the security measures. Nelly was right there with me until I was safely in my room. The surgical center was very lean and the staff was nice and friendly.
The room was nice with wifi and tv. I had my own bathroom which was awesome. Nurses were always checking on me. Dr.Mendiola was so nice!!! He met with me several times. He listened to me, was patient, and even took some social media suggestions lol.
Now at home, I just had my first video call and it went well. Nelly from TreVita was super nice and still calls me to check on me. She was with me everywhere I went until again after surgery at a hotel. I chose TreVita because, from all the research I did, this was the best fit for me. I was impressed with Dr.Mendiola’s resume and work.
There were other clinics that were cheaper BUT when it comes to my safety and welfare I did not hesitate to pay a little more to get the best doctor, facility, and over all best outcome for myself. With all the horrors you hear about selective surgery in Tijuana.
TreVita provided me that they have a state-of-the-art facility, with well-educated doctors and staff. Another deciding factor was the aftercare/follow-up: after I came back home. Atena, the nutritionist, has already contacted me at home to make sure I’m well and answer any questions. So they just don’t take your money and then forget about you…
I feel like if I have any issues I can call them anytime which eases my mind. I always had someone with me that made my experience smoother. Everything was smooth all the way up to dropping me back off at San Diego airport. So far I have lost weight, feel better, and am looking forward to my new life.”

From the moment I talked to Sharon on the phone I knew I was going to go with TreVita. They made me feel comfortable from the start. Every question I had they were there to answer right away and never made me feel dumb.
The hotel they put us up in is so beautiful and relaxing. They were there to pick me up from the airport and to help me check in to the hotel. They drove me to the hospital and helped me get checked in and stayed until I was settled in.
Every step of the way they were there for me and made me feel like a person. They don’t shuttle you in by the van load like a lot of the other places. It’s much more one on one and that’s what I wanted. I didn’t want to feel like just another patient.
