The Mini Gastric Bypass Surgery is very similar to the traditional RNY bypass. The difference is that only one connection is made to the small intestine (instead of 2). This procedure creates a narrow tube-like pouch that holds approximately 1-2 ounces.
The Gastric Sleeve is a surgical weight-loss procedure in which the stomach is reduced to two-thirds of its original size. This is done by surgical removal of a large portion of the stomach along the greater curvature making the stomach into a long tube, or “sleeve”.
In a Gastric Bypass, a small pouch is segmented off from the remaining stomach tissue, creating a new stomach roughly the size of a golf ball. The middle section of the small intestines is then rerouted to the newly created pouch, bypassing the stomach and duodenum.
For a large number of our clients, their initial bariatric surgery produces lasting outcomes. They also receive beneficial lifestyle changes they are seeking. However, for some weight-loss revision or conversion surgeries may be required to fully meet their goals.
A gastric balloon, also known as an intragastric balloon or a stomach balloon, is an inflatable medical device that is temporarily placed into the stomach to help reduce weight. It is designed to help provide weight loss when diet and exercise have failed and surgery is not wanted or not recommended for the patient.

The people are unbelievably nice and the doctors are unbelievably nice and I would recommend this to anybody. No second guesses just come on and get it done!”

We believe so!
While Mexico faces a variety of challenges like any other developing nation, the country is unique in its proximity and familiarity with Americans and wants American tourists to know Mexico can be safe place to visit. The result is a generally friendly and welcoming neighbor to the South with a massive infrastructure for providing lower priced medical procedures specifically designed for Americans. We believe the service and quality of care meet or exceed those found in the U.S., with customer service and overall experience often far exceeding U.S. standards.
All of our patient coordinators and surgeons speak English and there is always a fluent English-speaking staff member on the floor at all times (even at night).
People often forget how close Tijuana is to the U.S. and how intertwined the two communities and economies are. The result is a local population with many proficient English speakers. Between our dedicated English-speaking staff and others at the hospital, you’ll always find yourself with someone thoughtful to speak to.
All hospital rooms are equipped with a sleeper sofa and the hotel room can have two beds to accommodate a guest. Just make sure to let your patient coordinator know you plan on bringing someone with you. Please keep in mind that your companion can stay for free, but their meals are not included.
