What is AGF (Autologious Growth Factors)?
AGF is a regenerative hair restoration therapy that uses lab-cultured growth factors—proteins that are derived from Stem Cells and stimulate regeneration—to rejuvenate hair follicles and encourage new hair growth. These growth factors are derived from mesenchymal placental stem cells, which are applied directly to the scalp. The growth factors are typically applied through injections or microneedling, allowing them to penetrate deep into the skin for maximum effect. UNDERSTANDING THE AGF PROCESS
Here's what to expect from your treatment
Treatment 1
A specialist examines your scalp to identify areas of thinning, hair density, and follicle health. Photos are taken to track progress. This ensures the treatment is customized for your specific hair loss pattern, whether it’s thinning along the crown, receding hairline, or general shedding. No visible changes yet—this step sets the foundation.
Treatment 2
Growth factors derived from stem cells are applied topically using microneedling to penetrate deep into the scalp. Growth factors signal dormant hair follicles to reactivate, promote blood flow, and reduce inflammation around the follicles. A healthier scalp and reduced shedding within the first couple of weeks. New growth may start to present.
Treatment 3
Additional sessions reinforce the regenerative effects, typically spaced 3–4 weeks apart. Repeated growth factor exposure boosts collagen production and cellular regeneration, encouraging follicles to enter the growth (anagen) phase. Baby hairs usually begin to emerge around the hairline or crown, and existing hair may feel fuller and thicker.
Treatment 4
By this point, the hair cycle begins to normalize, and visible improvements become more consistent. Growth factors continue to nourish the follicles, support new capillary formation, and thicken hair shafts. Noticeable volume increase, darker or stronger hair strands, and improved coverage in previously thinning areas.
Treatment 5
After 4–6 treatments, maintenance sessions may be recommended every few months. Maintenance keeps the follicles active and extends the results long-term. Continued thickening, constant reduction of hair loss, and improved hair density across all treated areas. This final session usually brings visible, encouraging results.
